How do I add plug ins outside yahoo?

The older Yahoo IM allowed international weather on the plug-in and why doesn't the new one have int. weather?

My wife is stationed in the Philippines and I used to have the weather available and displayed in my yahoo IM. Now that I have downloaded the new version, the weather plug-in is limited to US zip codes only... What's with that? If I try to add a location it will only allow US zip codes, what happened to the international weather? Will it be available in the latest yahoo IM in the plug-ins?

Dear Jeff D, I think you haven't gotten any answers as of yet because maybe sending a nice email to Yahoo would lead you to the answer to this question. Your question is really not for us to answer. But if you don't have a way to see the weather where your wife is located just pray for an alternative means of feeling closer to your wife.
