I want to know what the weather is like in the sitka alaska area around September. and is that the time when they have lots of sun or no sun?

It is rather cool being that the city lies right on the coast with the cool Pacific Ocean. Average daily highs there in September are in the mid to upper 50's°F while at night it cools into the mid and upper 40's. Clouds and precipitation tend to increase during the month with the drier and somewhat sunnier time being the early part of the month. Obviously it will vary year to year but those are the overall average conditions.
