Is 4.60 in. of rain considered a lot in one month in the Bahamas? If so, does that mean it's going to rain on us the whole time we're there?
-
Answer:
That's a lot of rain for month around 114 mm. Almost 4 mm each day on average. Take something waterproof. Where I live (SE England) on average we have 1.5 to 2.5 inches of rain a month.

The total amount of rain is meaningless unless you look at it with the number of raindays. An avarage of 115mm on ten days means you can expect rain one day in three. 115mm on 20 days means two days in three. 115mm could fall in one thunderstorm or it could drag on with light rain every day. Check the number of raindays to find out how often it is likely to rain.
