Some Acid Rain Questions...?
-
Which regions of Canada are most affected by acid precipitation? Give two reasons why regions may be affected differently. Thanks
-
Answer:
Heavily Populated regions and regions downwind(east) undoubtedly. Regions with alkaline soils are not impacted by acid rain, but seems to me most if not all of Canada has low pH and infertile soils(except maybe the prairie regions), then any impacts from acid rain from western Canada might extend to the Taiga region north of the Prairies.
