Pregnancy alone is not reason enough for emancipation. You could talk to a lawyer and find out based on your situation but unless your home life is dangerous, abusive, etc. and you are able to support yourself and your future child the chances of you being granted emancipation are low. In order to become an emancipated minor, you must be able to prove that you can support yourself financially, that you are mature enough to live as an adult, and that it would be in your best interest to become an emancipated minor because of the circumstances of your home life. You must go to court in order to do this and the judge will determine whether or not to grand you emancipation. Don't let anyone here tell you that just because you're pregnant/have had a child that you are automatically an emancipated minor, I've seen this over and over again on Y!Answers and it is not true so please ignore it if you see it here.

It all depends on your home life and situation, if you have a good family that can take care of you there's no reason to become emancipated. I don't live there but I know here being pregnant and young I couldn't apply for anything, my bf has to [ay for everything and I haven't even received my child tax benefits yet and my son is 5 months old.

PREGNANCY WONT GET YOU EMANCIPATED YOU HAVE TO PROVE A LOT OF THINGS, LIKE YOU CAN MAINTAIN A STEADY JOB AND SUPPORT YOU AND YOUR BABY ON YOUR OWN AND THAT YOUR HOME LIFE IS UNSAFE FOR YOU.
