It is possible to win my child custody?

Can I win custody of my child if there was domestic violence in the past 2 years plus now?

• I am a father fighting for custody, I do have things against me made my mistakes with domestic violence ect, The child was taken away from her mother for neglect and drug/alcohol abuse, been arrested for assult and stealing recently, missing my daughters appointments aswell, and is clearly unfit, but recently sorting her act out, but is this enough for me to win custody? I have done everything the social, courts want me to do and are pleased for me and know im a good father and want her to live with me in a safe enviroment, I have a job 2, But will my past get me of domestic violence over 2 years ago now? If need more info please ask but that is my most concern and what I am worrying about, Thanks :-)

  The VAWA is running against you, but ultimately it's up to the courts, and if you've made a valid effort to change, than you should be given the opportunity.
