How painful is scoliosis surgery and what's the aftermath of it?

I have a bone tumor on my hip socket and i just found out that im a few weeks pregnant can i have the surgery?

  • ok so i have a bone tumor on my hip socket and a mass in the socket pushin my the bone out of socket and its causen me to have scoliosis and it hurts but i found out that im like 3 weeks pregnant and im scheduled for surgery on the 5th can i still have the surgery without harming the baby?????? or will i be all right if i don't have the baby because my mom thinks that because my pelvic bone is titlted i may not be able to carry it to term so can someone please tell me whats possible and whats not???

    I would see a doctor. Of corse I'm not a woman, but you never know what affect it might have on the baby or you. If you have to make the decision of your leg or the baby, no offence, I would choose the leg.

you should be able to, being its on the hip and they won't be opening you up in your stomache area. KEEP THAT BABY!!! It doesn't matter what your mom thinks, its not her choice, or her baby...........tell her I said she's a cruel person!!!!
