Evening primrose oil question?
-
hi all. Did anyone try evening primrose oil to ripen the cervix? If so what dose did you take and from how many weeks? Also was it successful? I would like to add that i am not trying to induce labor now (I'm only 35 weeks) But have been told i may need to be induced at 38-39 weeks, so would like to get my body ready for this. I have an appointment with my midwife tomorrow to discuss this, but want to hear other peoples views.

Answer:
I would follow what your midwife says, I'm sure she will provide you with some natural ways to get your body ready. From what I've read (I decided not to try it) you should get the capsules and insert two in the vagina before bed. But make sure you talk about it with your midwife, I'm sure she has plenty of experience with it. Hope you have an easy labor!
