Does NYC medicaid pay for International birth?

Florida medicaid or pregancy medicaid...i just gave birth recently & I can't seem to get in contact with?

• Anyone at DEfacs regarding my medicaid and I also called the county office for medicaid and have left numerous voicemails. My question is does anyone know if medicaid will pay for birth control? I moed here from GA just 2 months ago and in GA they do but I am not sure if they do in Fl, if they do how do i go about getting it? I wanted to get an IUD at my 6week postpartum. this is so frustrating...never have I had to go through so much for healthcare but I lost my job at 4mnth preggo and of course no one would hire me.

  Yes, medicaid pays for birth control. However, you may be limited as to types of birth control (usually generic). I do not know if they cover the IUD. My suggestion is to go DOWN to the Medicaid office since nobody will call you back. Also, a call to your doctor's office (maybe the billing dept?) will generally tell you if you are eligible for an IUD.
