Implantation bleeding? Or something else?

Implantation bleeding, confused on something!!?

  • i had light pink spotting on the 13th {ovulated around then so obviously not implantation bleeding} then i had light pink spotting on my pantyliner on the 19th and 21st a few hours after having sex it came. I started my period on the 25th, 2 days early. I am hardly ever early. Can implantation bleeding ever be heavy like a period? On my pad the blood is pink and brown but when I wipe it's like a lighter red. I'm just confused cuz on websites they say that some women mistake implantation bleeding for their period but I don't understand how, cuz unless implantation bleeding is as heavy as a period how could you mistake spotting for actually bleeding. I think there is still a possible chance of me being pregnant yet cuz period like bleeding during pregnancy runs in my family, from my mom until my great grandma. Can anyone give me any advice you have? Has anyone had period while pregnant and had simular experience? What made you think you were still pregnant after the bleeding stopped?

  • Answer:

You can't have a period and still be pregnant. However, some women experience period-like bleeding while pregnant, which can be several different harmless things, including decidual bleeding or it can be a bad thing, like a miscarriage. If you're receiving a faint positive, you're pregnant. Since you're bleeding and pregnant, you need to see a doctor ASAP.
