Can I apply for TANF?

Could I qualify for tanf if living with boyfriend?

• I want to know if I will be able to get tanf. I want to apply when im 8 months pregnant. I have a 15 month old son. I get food stamps and healthcare for him. Im wondering if i can get tanf because by 7 months i wont be able to work. I work in home care as home health aide. These agencys dont give disability or unemployment. So my only choice is tanf or temporary disability. I get chld support from my first son's dad. Im thinking of moving in with my bf that im pregnant with. But im not sure. He doesnt make enough right now. But we can get an apartment if im still working. But then when im 8 months we wont be able to pay the rent because, i wont be bringing any income for around 3 months. My bf on his own wont be able to pay the rent with minimum wage job and support me and my son. He also has another son he sends 150 every month to. So i was wondering if I should even move in with him or stay at my moms house till im 8 months then move with him. If I stay at my moms house till im 8 months, I could save a lot of money for an apartment. What should I do?

  I dont think you qualify but I dont think any woman living with a man should be allowed to get it.Two adults should be able to take care of themselves.Im one adult with two kids alone and I do.Tell him to get another job.
