Do you force your baby to eat?

  • Do you force your baby to eat even when they don't want to eat? My baby is a healthy small baby. She is not a fat baby like some people's baby. Well this know it all girl is telling me to force my baby to eat and she said that she does not gave up on her baby. Who does? She's here telling me how to take care of my kids when I never ask her for any advice. Come on this girl is like 7yrs younger than me. I just want to ***** at her, but she's my husband's friend wife. Anyone know a right a way to say to her without sounding like you are mad? Even though I want to ***** at her, but don't want to ruin it between my husband and his friend.

My 6 month old is exactly the same. She's tiny and doesn't eat half the amount that her older siblings did, yet she is perfectly healthy. Some babies eat less than others, and it's OK. I never force her to eat any more than she wants to. I would just tell this woman that your baby is perfectly healthy and doesn't want to eat. When she says something, just say in a polite but slightly snappy tone 'My baby is perfectly healthy. She doesn't need force fed.' and leave it at that. It should snap her out of it pretty quickly.

just say to her,every mum is different so are the baby's.and add i know my baby,and every mother wants whats best for their kids.if she continue doing this then you have to be rude i guess.she need to know to mind her own Business.or just ignore.who cares what she thinks anyway.you know you are a good mother,and you look after your kid ;)
