Babysitting tips for getting started in a new area?

• I am looking at putting up flyers in my community for babysitting. I recently moved to a new area and want to find new familes that i can service, where i used to live i serviced 2 families and i am interested in serviceing more. I have already taken the Canadian red cross babysitting course. I want to put flyers up and i would like to know a safe way to advertise my babysitting services and if your a parent what information would you look for on a flyer. Also if parents phone me i have a form that they will fill out about there children and Dr. but would it be too much to ask for parents to fill the form out or do you think parents would respect it. Also any tips or activites i think summer is a good time to get started. Thank-you

  I would say to make sure that you mention you have reviews from the past families available upon request on your flyers. The biggest seller for me on a babysitter is what other parents think of her service.
