What Is The Best Shower Timer?

Need help planning a shower?

• Hello Everyone!!! I'm planning on throwing my own baby shower. Only because 2 years ago I got married. And EVERYONE told me they wanted to throw me a bridal shower. 2 weeks before the wedding there still wasn't a shower. So I had to throw my own shower and I got one of my bridesmaids to take the credit. Sad I know. But because it was so close. Like NO ONE could make it. I maybe had 5 people. So anyways! Now everyone is telling me they want to throw my baby shower.. And they will be offended if i did it myself. I even said I would love help planning it! But thats not good enough. Because of last time I really don't want to chance that happening again. This is my first baby! Last year I lost a baby and everything has been going great with this pregnancy! It's extremely important to me to have a beautiful shower! You only get one shower. So i want to have a actual baby shower! Not something rushed that I have to plan anyways In the end. But have no time to invite people. I REALLY want to make my own baby shower invitations! I love scrapbooking and making cards! I was thinking a traditional blue and white theme or Pink and White(I find out the sex in a day!!!) but I was also thinking because it's in the fall a fall theme seems nice!! Kinda like orange and yellow invites and get maple cookies for guest favors(all done up nicley of course!) but anyways now people are giving me a hard time because I want to make the cards. Is it really that bad to make the cards? I would think that's more personal. But apparently not. Also! I have NO IDEA! how to plan a baby shower! I don't know about you guys..but I hate baby shower games! If it was my choice I would love a BBQ! More of a gathering! But the shower is Novemer 12th. Sometimes its freezing or actually snowing then! Haha so I don't want to do that. So I'm extremely stuck! I'm open for suggestions! But anytime I talk to anyone I know there pushing me away from anything I want. should I do a traditional baby boy/girl theme? Go

  It's your baby shower, you should plan it, don't let anyone take that from you. You may find this checklist helpful. http://www.best-baby-shower-planning-guide.com/baby-shower-checklist.html I think a traditional theme is great, also i like the BBQ idea, you can have an inside BBQ too, same food just cooked and eaten inside. The blue and white, and pink and white is common, if you want it more unique go with the fall theme invitations.
