What is a silk fabriccloth poster?

• I'm looking at movie posters online for my son's room and came across one that was "silk fabric cloth" instead of paper. Do you know how this is better or worse than a paper poster? I just want to attach the posters with something sticky that won't damage the paint and idk if I can do that with silk fabric cloth posters...help! Thanks!

  These posters are exactly what you guessed - just a normal poster printed on silk instead of paper. This increases the poster's lifespan dramatically. However, unless it's framed, it can be difficult to hang. Silk will probably fall down with anything sticky. One thing you might try would be the extra strips of adhesive backing that comes with 3M hooks. You can find them at most big box stores. If it doesn't work, I find that really super thin nails do the trick. I know you said you didn't want to damage the paint, but if you get them thin enough, you hardly notice any holes at all, and if you do, you can paint right over them without needing to patch anything.
