Good thing I was never a kid who cared about that. My mom made a good chunk of my clothes, including the dress in this picture. She made a matching pinafore and a little rag doll in the same dress!

you are never too old as long as you havent been through menopause, but your fertility drops after 35 and the risk of having a baby with birth defects gets higher. I would say 40 or older is too old, but then again there are heaps women leaving having babies too later in life now a days and many of them are 40 plus, so it is up to you and how healthy your body is. goodluck....I really hope you get to have your little bundle of joy :)

Mary's problems clearly arose from the genes inherited from her father's side so without those her new sibling would be a joy. Shorty, re your childhood comments. Indeed it would have been an idyllic childhood. I loved climbing trees. My brother and his cousin built a tree house - they were older than me - and they used to keep me out by pelting me with rotten apples from the orchard. So I used to hide in the bushes with the little girl from next door. We were inseperable until she left the street when she was 7 and lived on the other side of town and married a policeman. (But that was some years later!!!).

I agree with the first poster. Women have children right on up in age. As long as there is an egg to fertilize the chance of getting pregnant it there.

As long as you're fertile, but even later you can get an embryo implanted.
