Why does you temperture go up when you first conceive pregnancy??
-
I just had my embryo transfer done on 3-24-07 me & husband going through IVF my temp. has been running in 99.0 range I heard that can mean the egg is implanted

Answer:
Your basal body temp will rise about .4 F after an egg is released during ovulation. You will usually see a rise the day after you ovulate. If the temperature stays high for the next 14 days (some women it's shorter, others longer) than it's a good sign that you're pregnant. Women usually notice that they didn't get their period about 14 days after ovulation and that's a good sign as well of course.

It could but that would depend on if you were charting before , enough that you know when your temp is above range. I pray you are pregnant! :)
