What will regulate my period cycles to avoid getting pregnant again?

After posting my last question, I found out I was in fact, pregnant. According to women's health site, it stated that I conceived 3 days after my period ended. My husband & I are Catholic & don't use any contraceptives other than abstinence and avoiding my "more fertile" times, or so we thought. There are also natural parenthood planning organizations and websites you can look into that will help you understand when is your most infertile time of the month/year.
