Can you ovulate twice on clomid?

Can clomid make you ovulate early?

• ok so here are my questions. I am on my first cycle of clomid. 100mg days 2-6. I usually have a 29 day cycle. I started using OPK tests from day 10. I am now on CD 15 and have still not had a positive OPK. For the last 3 days i have had cramping and pain in my pelvic area. Today i also noticed that my nipples are very sore and sensative. My partner and i had sex days 9,10, 12 and 14. So.....could i have ovulated early and missed my LH surge with OPK and could i be pregnant....or should i keep testing for ovulation???? I have a 7 yr old daughter but my husband and i have been ttc for 5 years now. I have had a miscarriage and a chemical pregnancy last year so i am very anxious to get preg. My friend some times has psychic abilities and she keeps saying she thinks i will be pregnant...or find out i am.....April. So could i be preg or should i keep testing??? Sorry for rambling. lol

  Hello, You can get pregnant and ovulate earlier/later on Clomid. I ovulated later... I was taking Clomid (50mg) on days 5-9 of my cycle. My doctor told me to have intercourse 11-13 day of the cycle. I took opk at that time to check do I ovulate. It was positive for 2-3 days...The weird thing is that I did not have any ovulation symptoms when opk was positive... I am pretty sure I was ovulation one week later, as I had typical temperature rise and egg-white discharge. I also took opk at that moment and it was negative. I am almost sure I ovulated somewhere between 16-21 day of my cycle when I was on Clomid. So watch your body, not only opk and don't stress too much! Baby blessings to you!
