Should I take Vitex (chasteberry) while taking clomid?

I was just diagnosed w/ PCOS, however my only symptom is that I have multiple follicles or cysts on my ovaries. I still get a regular period every month and have never had a problem with being overweight or any of the other symptoms. Because I get a period regularly every month, does that mean I may still be ovulating? My husband and I are trying to conceive and have been for about 8 months now. My doctor just prescribed me clomid to try out for 3 months. I was wondering if I could start taking vitex as well. Or would that screw up ovulating with the clomid? Also, if anyone has a similar story with the pcos and clomid, please let me know how it all worked out for you. Thanks!
