What hormone is the highest amount at the time of ovulation?

Have any ladies had spotting-light bleeding during ovulation?

• My most recent period was June 9-14. Five days later after having intercourse that night, I noticed a tiny amount of blood mixed with the cervical mucus. From then on, the next couple of days it was just spotting here and there. And during the whole time, I kept experiencing Ovulation signs... like sore breasts, lots of clear stretchy CM, cervical position was high and soft. Then on June 22nd, that was the day I am assuming I ovulated due to the major soreness in my breasts and the pain in my ovary area, lots of CM, etc. The bleeding was light, and still continued through yesterday, june 26. Today, its brown. Ive only had to use a panty liner the whole time. So it wasnt that much. My question is, have any of you ladies had this spotting-light bleeding through your ovulation time for this amount of time? IM ON NO BIRTH CONTROL I would be 5 dpo today and so far I've been experiencing really sore breasts, and back aches, mood swings and tiredness. Id love for your opinions!

  Hello :) I researched your question a little because I, myself, have never spotted during ovulation, so I wanted to see what might cause that. Instead of posting all of it here, pretending like the ideas are mine, you should check out this site. http://www.americanpregnancy.org/gettingpregnant/understandingovulation.html I think this site is your "best answer" :) Personally, when I conceived, I also had extremely sore breasts, but mostly in the nipple, I was mean, mean, mean (apparently!), and very tired. I was so tired that I thought I was starting to get depressed about not conceiving. The bleeding may not have been ovulation related, but related to the intercourse. There have been times that I bled for longer than I would have liked after intercourse with the spotting you mentioned. It could also have been implantation bleeding.
