What is the difference between having scarred and blocked Fallopian tubes?

Fallopian tubes blocked but got pregnant- miscarried.?

• after ttc for almost 3years and having all the fertility tests done, i was told my fallopien tubes were possibly blocked and would need a small operation to see if the damage could be repaired. on the day of my pre ope, the routine pregnancy test came back posotive, we were so shocked, so the operation was cancelled. at 7 weeks i had a miscarrige. when i asked the doctor about my tubes being blocked, he said 1 tube may be blocked and 1 may not, so i have no idea if i have 2 working tubes or just 1, not knowing drives me mad as if u only have 1 tube working then u have half the chance of getting pregnant. do you think the docs would still carry out the operation i was having or what? this all happend over a year ago. just wish i knew

  Insist on an answer, go back to your GP and ask for a definitive answer. Ovaries tend to take it in turns so one fallopian tube if unblocked should have gotten you pregnant again in the last 12 months. I'll have to presume you were scheduled for either a Lap & Dye or a HSG, tell your GP you want the procedure that they never got to perform 14 months ago. I'm so sorry for what you've been through (been there) but be proactive, stand up for yourself and demand a diagnosis. The very best of luck.
