Can I still get pregnant if I have ovarian cysts?

Ovarian cysts and trying to get pregnant ?

  • I have like 2 or 3 cysts on my right ovary... and my bf and I are trying to get pregnant... I have a child with my ex and I had cysts then too so why is it taking so long to get pregnant? It happened in a week with my first almost 2 years ago... what are some tips for him and I both? I keep bleeding on and off... its not normal.. its really thin like water, but its a lot at first.. what does this mean?

  • Answer:

As your doctor or specialist has already done your diagnosis they maybe doing the watchful waiting approach, this is due that most cysts may disappear without the need for treatment usually within several weeks. Then you will need another ultrasound scan to confirm that they have cleared up. If you tell your doctor that they are really bothersome and the symptoms that you are having, your doctor should take notice and initiate some medical attention especially as your are trying to get pregnant. My advice is get back to your doctors and get referred to a gynaecologist specialist. Good luck

The cysts can get worse, it can affect your chances but even if you didn't have any cysts it doesn't matter it could take months and months to get pregnant where as your first might have took a week, it is different any time, just keep trying, eventually i'm sure it will happen, be patiant
