Can someone look at my OPK results and tell me what they think with possible ovulation time?
-
TTC for 3 months no and first month using OPK. Pretty regular, 26 day cycle, sometimes 25 and sometimes 27, but never more than that or less than 25 days in my six months off the pill. I got my first positive on cd 11 with not much CM or EWCM. I checked cervix position and it was soft, high (almost couldnt reach it) and wet. We BD'd on cd 6, 8, 9, 11, 12,13 and will today cd 15 just to be safe. (below is the last few days of suspected ovulation/fertile time) cd 6 (- OPK) BD cd 8 (-OPK) BD cd 9 (-OPK) BD cd 10 (-OPK) cd 11 (+ OPK) BD 3pm (little crampy, not bad) (little CM, only when checked internally and still not thick like egg white) cd 12 (+ OPK) BD 7am and 9pm (very crampy all day, by 5pm sharp painful cramp in my right side for about an hour or 2) **my suspected actual ovulation day? same CM as day before, not much) cd 13 (+ OPK at 10am and - OPK at 7pm) BD (overall abdomen cramps, like AF cramps) (no visible cm) cd 14 (+ OPK at 10am and - OPK at 7pm) no cm cd 15 (- OPK) plan on BD'ing (today) when i wiped at noon, decent amount of EWCM. So today, was the first time i saw some when i wiped (sorry TMI). So it is possible Im ovulating now?? even though my surge was Sunday, almost 5 days ago? We plan on BD tonight to be sure, but Im so confused...is this normal. Anyone see anything in my info that will help me better understand my ovulation, i think i ovulated on cd 12, but not sure? I am not BBTing, might try next cycle if this one doesnt work. Thanks for any help!! :)

Answer:
wow, this is too much to read it's making me dizzy! when you get a positive OPK, you don't and shouldn't continue to keep testing...it'll just confuse you. so go off of your first positive and you should have ovulated within two days of the FIRST positive. switch over to the monitor if this month isn't your month...it tells you exactly when your 2 peak days are. but if you read the OPK's directions it'll tell you that it's not necessary to keep taking the OPK's once you get a positive. that only makes it confusing!

Generally your egg is released 12-24 hours after your first positive on the OPK. The egg lasts about anotherr 12-24 hours. So as long as you bd'ed 5 days before the first positive or anytime after it, your chances are pretty high of getting pregnant
