Anyone has a late period because of progesterone?

Has anyone ever taken progesterone (provera) to "jump-start" their period when trying to have a baby?

I have not been getting my period for quite sometime and therefore am not ovulating. My doctor put me on progesterone for 5 days (10mg) to start my period and then Clomid to take days 5-9 of my cycle to help me ovulate. I finished the progesterone pills on tues. morning and it is now Friday. How long after I finished the five days worth of pills should I expect to start my period? I am starting to get really worried...should I be yet?
Answer:

I have taken it twice but for ten days. After taking the last pill my period normally starts 3-5 days later.

I think it took me anyehere from 7 to 10 days after the provera to get my period. It's not instantanious.
