My boyfriend has just got a job and he asked me to marry him. I've wanted to get pregnant for a while but don't know if right now is the right time.

Answer:
I think you should give yourselves a bit of time to enjoy being married. My husband and I have spent a few years travelling and having a good time being young. These are times you will look back on fondly when you're older. It will give your marriage a solid foundation, and get you through some of the more difficult times. :)

Just wait. A lot can happen right now. Just settle on getting married first.

Wait a few months first. You don't really want to have a baby in the dead of winter, if you can help it!

Wait like for 1 year after you get married. Just to see if he is the right guy. Like you dont get any divorces.

it's really up to you...being married isn't the same as living together or going out...trust me, i know...once that paper is signed, there's this extra sense of security that makes just being married something extra special...there's something about being married for a while and spending that time together...but it's up to you...if you feel you're close enough to your fiancee that another being in the house will not affect your relationship, then go for it! my husband and i got pregnant after 3 months of marriage...but we were so close that the baby hasn't affected our relationship...my husband understands that there's times that i only have time for the baby and stuff like that...it just makes the times we have together so much more special...

I know it's hard. I'm in a similar situation. But it will be better in the long run if you wait a little more. Especially if you are getting married. They don't have many dresses for pregnant women. Also, save up some money. Babies are expensive.

What's the hurry? Wait to get married and have fun being married for a little while before getting pregnant. You'll be thankful that you gave you and your future husband some time alone together. There is always time for children.

Have you discussed children with him? You both need to sit down and think about how many you would like to have. I'd suggest staying on the birth control until after the wedding. Its such a stressful time anyways. Do you really want to try and fit a pregnant belly into your dream dress? Been there, it stunk, shoulda waited. Just go off the pill the day after your *I do's* and let nature take its course. You'll get pregnant when the time is right.
