Cervical Mucus and Pregnancy?

Cervical mucus during early pregnancy?

  • Hey everyone, well I am suppose to start my period in about 2 or 3 days and well, I noticed today that I had some really bright white cervical mucus it was in my undies and it looked thick but, not like thick that looks like an infection thick... I have had morning sickness like crazy so pretty much I want to know what your CM looks like if you are about 6-7 weeks pregnant. I had a period in beginning of Aug and it was short and light 2-3 days. took a test and said neg. I am not sure if this is period or pregnancy symptoms... Also my breasts have grown a cup size in a month and super sore along with my nipples well they have died down now and all these symptoms minus the CM it has been going on about 5 days after my short period. HELP! COULD I STILL BE PREGNANT EVEN IF I HAD A NEG TEST? AND WHAT DID YOU LADIES HAVE DURING EARLY PREGNANCY!?

  • Answer:

With both my pregnancies I got a positive pregnancy test 5 days before my expected AF. During pregnancy, the only difference I have found in my CM is that it is more abundant, but usually creamy. But CM is not a true indicator in pregnancy, it can be different for every woman. Is the beginning of August the last time you took a HPT? I would suggest you take another one or every better a blood pregnancy test, that will be the tell all. They are generally testing for a level of 5miu and above.
