Traditional Surrogate and Medicaid?
-
I (male) & a good friend (female) are deciding to have a child together. I guess you could consider it a surrogate type situation because she is signing off rights after the child is born & were going to have a contract drawn up by my lawyer. My question is about medicaid. My friend is on medicaid & I have read that it doesnt cover a surrogate's pregnancy. However my friend will be the biological mother, does that make a difference? If not how do I go about paying her doctor bills without her losing medicaid?

Answer:
If she can't afford to pay for healthcare how is she going to be a responsible parent? Sorry just seems like she wants to have a baby to get more welfare benefits.
