Anyone has a late period because of progesterone?

HAS ANYONE HAD A PROGESTERONE SHOT TO START PERIOD?

  • this is my 2cd month to have a progesterone shot to help start my period. before that i just took the pills for 10 days. this is also my 2cd month on clomid! last month i was on 50mg and didnt ovulate so they are uping my dpsage to 100mg. anyway, my question is....last month with the shot i started 5 days later. well today is the 5th day after this shot and no period yet. has anyone had this shot before? how long has it taken you to start?

    I was on the pills not the shot but I heard with the shot it could take 10-12 days. I also have heard that if your pregnant the progesterone will prevent you from bleeding as it builds up the uterine lining! So I would def give your dr a call! GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!

I did have that shot and it took me exactly 7 days so wait it out Dr. told me it should be anywhere from 7-10 days anything longer talk to you Dr. Hope this helps good luck *Baby Dust
