How do you get started with modeling?

How do I get my 3 year old daughter started in modeling and acting?

  • Im trying to get my daughter in the modeling scene but Im a little scared. I dont want to get suckered into anything. If there are parents out there that have done this for their kids let me know. I want to know how to get started.

    What you should do is search for some reputable agencies (They will NOT ask for money up front to sign with them) and see what it entails to sign with them. I suggest Ford Kids, as they are well known and not a scam. On their website, they will tell you what kind of photos you should bring in with you, to see how well she photographs, (I.e. Against a white backround with a smile). Bring the pictures in with you and your daughter when you go to a casting call, and they will meet you and deside if they want to represent you. Get The Camera Out Quite Often and Take Pictures of her on her own, Don't Push her straight into it because then she might not like it, get the video camera out to! Ask Her to sing a little song or do a dance or even copy her fave TV Show even if the song is a nursery Rhyme! Remember Though, Don;t Push Her Or You Might Blow It...

I think you should build her self esteem up. So she will think highly of herself and wont let you down or herself.
