Should I change my son's daycare again?
-
I changed my son's daycare in July because I really didnt like it. It wasn't the wordt place my son could be put I thought we could do better. They were using the diapers and wipes I bought for my son on other kids. Also the main care giver would have my son right next to her while she smoked cigarettes outside. The lady would also kiss my son on the lips ( He was about 18 months wheni took him out) and I could go on. My bf knew them since he was little so that was always our first choice in daycare becuase we have no family that could watch our son full-time. The watch our son from 3 months till about 18 months, and I finally had enough and everytime I would talk to my bf about it he would brush it off and say it was not a big deal and that I am just a control freak (W/E) and I should be happy that they were only charging me $400/mo for daycare ( most daycares in our area charge on average $1000/mo for infants) So I decided to take the initative to find our son another daycare. My bf sister told me about the daycare her daughter was going to and I went there and took a tour and I loved the atmosphere and class room settin ( which he didnt have at the other place) and it was more kids to place with there. The downside was that it was $200/mo more than the previous daycare and it was about 7 mins more out of the way than the first daycare. So it takes my bf about 45mins or more to get to the daycare ( which he cant stand) but I never ask him to poick our son up. I drop our son off and pick him up everyday while working full-time and going to school. It seems like everytime change my bf gets he talk about how I made this decision without him (our son would have been at that same daycare if it was up to him) and he says how paying for the new daycare has put him in debt eventhough I pay the entire extra $200/mo BY MYSELF, but he says my decisionwas selfish and impractical. But the price of the daycare will go down to $400/mo in Jan when our son turns 2. My son was starting the terrible two right before he left the previous daycare, so his behavior has become very unruly and I know its a mixture of the terrible 2, the new environment, and picking up bad habits from other kids. So now just to get my bf off my back about the daycare I am looking for a NEW daycare closer to where we live. AND thats affordable. Should I look for a new daycare thats more convenient , or just keep him where he is and endure my bf picking fights about the dayacre several times a week. (Another reason why I like the daycare he is at is because they do a lot more activities and the give me a daily report of what he did, his nap and diapers, etc.

Answer:
Keep the daycare and lose the BF. If he isn't concerned with your sons needs now how will it be later on?

The new daycare seems like a pretty good place for your son to be. 7 mins isnt anything,to argue about. January is a month away. i think your BF is just being immature and not thinking about what is best for the child.

keep it. It seems good. Is he happy there ..? Who cares Wut boyfriend thinks or says! Some daycares dont give a rats *** bout tha kids. Its important they properly care for them and watch over them. Lose him or tell him to shut up bout it. -.- he's tha control freak.
