Ideas for my twins Birthday party?

Three year old twins birthday party coming up and need game ideas.?

  • I have a boy and a girl and need some game ideas for their birthday party. Were having it at a shelter at a lake where there isn't anything for children this young to do. I need some help with ideas to entertain the kids. Ages vary but most will be under five. Any ideas would be great. We have already planned a pinata and pin the tail on the donkey- not very imaginative.

Another idea is to bring a small radio and play musical chairs. Bring a small bottle of bubbles for each child to use with their parent's supervision. Face painting and/or temporary tattoos will use up some time as well. Good Luck, and ENJOY!

My friend just bought a bunch of balls and let them play. She also had a TV and VCR with Spongebob (or whatever cartoon character is the theme of the party) playing on it. At that age, they can entertain themselves better that trying to get them to cooperate.

Children love arts and crafts at any age. At my work we often will get the kids involved in finger painting or playing with clay (non-toxic of course). You can make butterflies out of coffee filters and pipe cleaners or you could get butcher paper and trace the child's body and then let them fill in their features with crayons or markers. You can go to http://www.amazingmoms.com/ for party ideas also.

you could always do weighted ducks, where they pick a duck out of the water for a prize, young children usually love that game and then they can always play with the water and ducks afterward. "Hot Potato" Put a medium sized ball in the center of a circle along with a child chosen to be 'it'. The child who is 'it' pushes the ball with his or her feet, trying to get it out of the circle. The other children try to stop the ball with their feet. Once the ball is out, another leader is chosen. The ball is called the 'hot potato' and the children will enjoy trying to keep it in the 'oven'. Treasure Hunt You can make a small map with clues for the children to follow to find their "loot" Hope those ideas help!

Rent them a Moon Jump or a Ball pit....you know the inflatable mesh enclosed things they like to jump around in. Pretty cheap rental item. Pinatas are STILL good for little kids so I think they'll enjoy that. DON'T GET A PONY...they poo and bite. Have fun!!!!
