What is the adult/child ratio for nursery setting?

Question about role and pay in a nursery setting (UK)?

• If an employee held a level 3 in childcare and was the safeguarding officer and was key person for 8 out of 12 children in the nursery, would they be entitled to more than the minimum wage as they would have more responsibility than other staff? (Asked it here also as a lot of mommys may be working or worked in a nursery etc )

• Answer:

  they would recieeve more than a level 2 nursery nurse. as they have the responsibility as a safeguarding officer they probibly will. but the amount of key children they have wouldnt affect that
