My 21 month old says over 30 words, but she doesn't say most of them clearly. Is this normal?

Yes, it's normal. My little cousin who just turned 3 years old and she doesn't say everything very clearly. Before she goes to school, you should make sure she can talk clear enough to talk to others.

Likely. Some children can't physically keep up with their expanding intellectual abilities. This is not a developmental disability... their little bodies just need to catch up to their brains. Talk to your pediatrician if you want to rule out any structural concerns with her speech process, but it is likely your child is normal (and perhaps bright).

Of course, my mom said I did the same thing, the best thing you can do is try to help him pronounce the word correctly. When he says a word wrong you can come up to him and help him try to pronounce it.
