Which celebrity "Yummy Mummy" annoys you the most?

  • For me it has to be Myleene I'm never off the telly Klass. I literally can't turn on the TV without seeing her cooing about shampoo or telling some poor exhausted woman she needs to look younger. Every interview she gives she goes on about how great and fulfilling it is to be a mum and I just think "well, yeah it must be great fun spending a couple of hours a day with your toddler in between hair and make up calls, photo shoots and late night presenting jobs!" I reckon she wouldn't find it quite so fulfilling if she had to cope with a screaming, stubborn toddler day in, day out on her own, lol! So which celebrity mum annoys you and why? Feel free to vent!

    When I read that first line of your question I immediately thought of Myleene. You've worded everything so well (and amusing) there isn't much else to add! I don't know what it is because I'm sure she is a good mom but the sight of her just irritates me. I find her SO ANNOYING!!!!! I'm sick of seeing her shampoo ads and showing off how good she is on the piano. A while back I went into the breast feeding area at Mothercare and there were leaflets with her cheesy grin plastered everywhere. ...So annoying

Even before I saw the rest of your answer, mine was also going to be Ms Klass. What I hate is how all through her pregnancy she talked about how amazing she felt and was all 'glowing' and everyone was in awe of her and telling her how sexy and pregnant she was. Then as soon as she had the baby she totally cashed in on the 'real mummies' market by writing her pregnancy diary all about her terrible sickness and mass of hideous pregnancy symptoms!! Talk about saying what suits you to get the cash in! The way she talks you'd think she'd invented the concept of motherhood!! I was about to buy a babygrow in mothercare the other day then I realised it was from her range so I put it back!!

Katie Holmes-she always has a really smug look on her face, one that would be nice to see frowning just one of these days! I hope daughter Suri is a REAL rebel and does everything she is not "supposed to do." Like be a real kid, for example.....

I don't have a television so I've escaped the Myleene Klass ubiquity. But yeah, I did see the book and clothing range ( horrendous ! And what's with the black ?) in Mothercare. Gwyneth Paltrow does it for me. I think the macrobiotic/all organic/bugabooesque caricature gives me the heebie-jeebies. And to mention she has an army of nannies who work for her. She even has a website now where she gives tips about motherhood. Eeeeek !

Kerry Katona is the worst by far.She can barely look after herself,never mind her kids.As for Katie Price,I think she is a great mum.Ok,she might have got her fame by being a glamour model,but hey,look where it has got her! She is also a business woman,has her own clothes,underwear,perfume,jewellery and books line.And she does alot of charity work,aswell as looks after 3 kids,one of whom is disabled.Ok,she has the help of a nanny now and again when she has to work,but if we were all working and travelling as much as her,Im sure we would need a hand now and again.I personally think she is an inspiration and it is good to see she is still down to earth and is not affected by narrow minded people on the way.

all celebrity yummy mummies annoy me! they talk about how great parenting is and how hard it is, yet they are never seen with the babies and pay for nannies to look after them! not to mention the fact that they always look perfect! come on all you mums do you have time to look like that everyday like them? i dont! i have a 2.5 yr old son and 18 month old daughter and am 15 weeks pregnant and i dont look perfect like aneglina jolie does even though she has a dozen kids she apparently looks after herself! i love my kids and wouldnt change it but they cant really comment on what its like to be a full time mum, when they make films or adverts and go on numerous holidays a month!

I think Myleene puts on a very good front. It's part of her job to come across as a shiny happy smiling woman. I'm sure underneath it all she has similar experiences to all other mums.
