Is it normal for your temp to stay low after ovulation?

Does your temp have to stay elevated to confirm pregnancy??

• K I am using the bbt method and me and one of my other ttc friends are both ttc our first and we have been charting our temps, and when ur pg ur temp is supposed to stay elevated... does anyone know a certain temp amount that would mean u are pg?? I know everyone is different and has different temps.. but is it possible to be pg and ur temp keeps dropping.. but not dropping below the coverline?? please help!!

  well my temp before pregnancy was 36.9 degrees an now it is 37.2 degrees an has stayed there the whole time...whatever your base temp is its supposed to rise 3-4 degrees during pregnancy an stay there if you are pregnant... try an ovulation kit they work better..i used one an i was pregnant within 2wks..,,just like a pregnancy test you pee on the stick an if its 2 lines means your ovulating an u have sex if its one line your not ovulating..the kits have about 20 in them an also have a pregnancy test as well...good luck
