Is there birth controil for 12 year olds?

WHEN are we going to wake kids up??????? You need to come down on your daughter hard like our folks did with my sis and me: you get someone pregnant or you get pregnant while your under our roof we're disowning you and kicking you out. the answer is not birth control it's teaching these kids consequences for their actions! if they cant support themselves financially they don't belong having kids. PERIOD. PS this worked for us. we need to seriously discipline our kids instead of making them welfare cases.

Condoms. I doubt her friends got pregnant because there's no birth control, they probably just weren't using anything because they're ghetto... If you really don't want her to get pregnant, you might want to move your daughter somewhere where she can find smarter friends.

first off why is she with such older friends she is to your for that age group and the pill can be taken at that age but i feel the problem is she is to young for that age girls anyways... good luck

The pill. I wouldn't suggest anything else. Condoms are hugely a guy resposiblity and he may just not put it on. The shot is actually really bad for your bones and is NOT suggested for teenagers or anyone who may want children later as it makes conception hard later. The patch has been known to cause fatal blood clots and at 12 going on 13 she may not be comfortable enough to use the ring. So the pill is really the only choice that is safe and that you also have some control over(you can make sure she takes it). I am glad that you are thinking ahead and getting your daughter on birth control. I have a friend whos mom wouldn't put her on it because she thought that would keep her from having sex, and that never worked, and another friend who's mom thought she wouldn't because one of our other friends had a baby and that also didn't work. I think half the problem is parents arn't willing to talk with their kids about these things and that school health programs don't teach enough about sex and birth control.

Set up huge restrictions... you should never allow your 12 yearold daughter to be anywhere alone make sure theyre always under parental supervison... a 12 year old shouldnt be doing anything more than making out with another person.... trust me it will pay off, she will become more responsible when she realizes how much you helped her... make her save her viginity because at twelve, the guy she finds is more than likely scum.

Birth control at 12? what in God name is wrong with parents in this country= tell her to look at her friends and the result of having sex at that age- they will not have a life ever there is nothing wrong with liking boys but having sex with them is just very very wrong
