What does it feel like to have your water break naturally?

  • What does it feel like right before your water breaks is it a little painful, does it happen during a contraction? With my first son my water was broke in the hospital so it just felt like i peed all over really fast.

    its a big pop then it runs non stop like a faucet it doest hurt at all

In four pregnancies only one of mine broke at home. I was asleep in bed. At about midnight, I felt a little "pop" that woke me up. I felt the tiniest trickle of water come out. I wasn't sure if I had peed myself or if my water broke. I as having no contractions. I went to the living room and waited. Still nothing. About 4 am I started having contractions every 10 minutes. So I woke my husband, we got our thing together, and we took our older son over to my mom's house and headed to the hospital. We got to the hospital at about 6 am and he was born at 8:17 am!! All my other labor's went so fast that the Dr broke my water right before I started pushing.

I was asleep and all of a sudden I woke up to a big gush of fluid, more than I could ever pee in my life. I jumped out of bed and was like OMGosh, my water just broke!!!
