How to do the baby freeze move?

Is it possible that I felt my baby move at 14 weeks?

  • Last night I went to a show where my friend's band was playing and the music was a little bit loud, and I started to feel a little fluttering feeling right where my baby is. I've definitely never felt something like it yet and I know it wasn't my uterus cramping or gas. Is it possibly at only 14 weeks that I felt my baby move? Another quick question: I have not found out the sex of my baby yet, but every time I talk or think about my baby, I'm always automatically referring it as a baby girl. It's this weird feeling I have, and I'm almost certain I'm going to have a girl. Have any of you had this happen before and then be totally right about it? I end up feeling silly sometimes in conversation and right away saying "my baby girl" or something along those lines lol

Hey, I go to see my fiances band perform every weekend, and it's not soft pop stuff - It's rock/metal, so I think the vibrations from the drums probably get the baby moving haha. It's possible to feel baby at 14 weeks, I felt my first flutter at 15 weeks though I was told I wouldn't feel him kick until at least 20 weeks. Maybe wait a few more days and see if you get any other kicks. Baby is very small right now but it is definately possible. Me and my fiance always spoke about our baby being a boy before we found out the sex. We would always say "he" or "him" in conversation, and as our gender scan approached ever nearer, we started thinking about how weird it would be to go from "him" to "her" as we literally spoke about the baby everyday as if it were a "he" ....turned out we were right, and I'm now 24 weeks pregnant with our first baby boy :o) good luck with your pregnancy and congratulations!!!!

yeah you can. ignore the other freaks. But it's unlikely unless you've had kids before

It is very possible to feel your baby at 14 weeks. If you are very slim and have a tight abdomen this can be a factor to you feeling baby so early. I referred to my bump as him and I ended up having a girl! Even though every part of my body thought it was a boy! Lol

Some women just can kind of sense what the baby is which alot of people think is not true. Im not too sure about the movement. it would be more likely if it was your second or third child. not as likely with your first although its not impossible.

It's possible you are feeling baby. I *think* I might have felt my son that early. But I was never sure it was him until 16 weeks. And I had a gut feeling it was a boy and I was completely right!

Yes that fluttering could've been your baby. Its called quickening and it does happen around that time. I think I was like 14 wks or so when I first felt that with my son. You may be able to sense the sex of your baby. I really don't remember if I had a feeling. I got an ultrasound at 18wks to find out the sex which was a boy. If you have a prenatal appointment soon then ask how fast your babys heartbeat is(if the suspense is killing u and u wanna know lol). A heartbeat of 140bpm means girl and if its 160bpm or higher its a boy. But if you don't have an appt for awhile u can have an ultrasound done at 18-20wks which will tell you. I couldn't not know myself. Congrats & best of luck! :)

Actually yes you CAN feel the baby move at 14 weeks. That is when I started to feel the little fluttery feeling and I too was positive it wasn't gas. My Dr. told me that yes I was feeling the baby move. Lol I did the same referring to the baby as a girl b4 I knew. I just felt that I was having a girl but I also just wanted a girl. Luckily I was right and I am indeed having a girl :). I'm now 21 weeks and my gosh is she active!! I can see her moving now it is amazing! Good luck sugar!!
