Woolworths..........?

  I heard on the radio that everything was going to be half price so I went to take a look. Many people were very disappointed when they got there as very little was half price. Most had between 10 and 30% off. The only stuff I found that was 50% off was some left over school uniforms and a few toys that originally where under £3 to start with. My local store normally stocks things like big televisions and other electrical equipment, but today it had all been removed before the store opened. Also all the top 20 CDs had been removed. Cds, Dvds and play station games etc were only reduced by 10%. Some toys had already been discounted by 50% as they do every year at this time (only because they are overpriced to start with to allow this) and these did still have another 20% off so if you haven't done your Christmas shopping yet it may be worth taking a look. My understanding is that the prices are going to remain discounted now until the stores run out of stock and close. I should imagine that the closer we get to Christmas the further the prices will fall.
