What are the steps I need to take to be a psychologist?

What steps do I need to take in order to move out of state with my children?

  • My husband and I are wanting to move out of state. However I have children from a previous relationship. I was wondering what steps I need to take in order to be able to move out of state with my children. The father's name is in the birth certificate but there is no custody agreement. Does it all have to go through the courts? If I need a lawyer what type of lawyer do I need? Do I need proof that we're not moving to be malicious, but to better our lives? Any help or advice you can give me is very much appreciated. Oh I'm from Ohio if that helps with anything. I did ask in 2 sections. I'm asking here because maybe another parent has went through this.

  • Answer:

Yes, you need to go through the courts. It is a mean thing to do to the kids and their father.
