How do I get my parents to let me go to a boarding school?

How to convince my parents to let me go to boarding school?

• Ok so im in 11th grade (I live in South Africa) I really want to move schools and go to a boarding school as there are no schools around me that i want to go to. I go to a private school its pretty expensive and Ive found a boarding school that is a bit cheaper. I want to move because I want to meet new people as all of my friends have changed. We all used to be so close. Now they are all getting drunk every weekend, smoking weed etc. They were never like this. They also only seem to care about themselves. I actually cant call them my friends. I also feel that the amount of money that my parents are paying for me to go to school now is way too much for what the school is worth. The teachers arent exactly the best, nor is the campus and the people in my school suck. They all suffer from small town syndrome, everyone is so fake and they gossip about the smallest of things. I also want to get away from home. My parents dont meet new people, they just sit at home and do nothing. Im too embarrassed to bring people to my house as it is a mess as my parents are slobs. They wont change. Ive fought with them constantly about this. My parents have no social life whatsoever and are constantly fighting. I just get so frustrated with them as they do nothing. So i will never meet new people as they dont really like me going anywhere and even if i do meet people il never invite them to my house. Also the boarding school that I want to go to is more recognized by universities around here. So i have more chance of getting accepted if I go to one. Ive spoke to my parents about moving schools and told them about my so called friends and the school and they just think im running away from my problems and that im the problem and that its too late for me to move. How is it my fault that my friends have changed and that they stab me in the back and that they only give a **** about themselves? and that the school is for stuck up fake people? must i become like one of them???? So any advice? anything i can do to convince them to let me go??

  Just tell them that, and that boarding school is a GREAT oppertunity. It also looks fantastic on college applications. Just keep pushing them on it and that its a great idea and great life expierence.
