  • I strongly believe in spanking children, i think its a great form of discipline when children are young. But i try to do it as little as possible, just when theyre acting up. What do tou think about spanking kids?

    I believe in spanking kids, only if its necessary, otherwise i'd try some other way. I avoid it too, because i don't want to scar them, but i do want to clearly show them what you did was wrong. Instead of yelling or placing them in time out, a firm yet gentle smack on the but seems to be even more effective. Not when they get older though, they better just listen to me!

Spanking on the bottom with an open hand is fine. Anything else is crossing the child abuse line, in my book.

It depends what they have done and how badly they have done it. If something is minor, then spanking is not necessary. But if it is something serious, then it would be good to spank a child to teach him/her a lesson. However, spanking should not get carried away, for the child may confuse it with abuse.

NO! listen hiting a child is NEVER the answer. talk to them fermly and make them understand your serious. if you hit them they will become scard of you and never want to talk or anything, or they will grow to hate you.
