Need a parent of a young child or has raised kids to answer some q's for my uni assignment?

  • hi everybody, my name is Emily and i attend Curtin university in Perth, Australia. I'm studying Early Childhood Education to be a pre primary teacher and need to ask some parents of young children, or people who have had children some questions. I dont know anybody in real life, so have to ask on here. Please, atleast one person take the time to answer the following questions? try to be as detailed as possible. Please help me, no sillyness. This is serious, it is a university assignment!. Questions: How old is your child and what sex? Where has your child grown up? (For example, a farm, in the city etc.) When does/or when did your child play? For example, after school, when they wake up, dinner time etc.? Does/did your child play inside or outside and what does she play when they are there? Do you/did you allow your child to play with any technology or be exposed to technology such as television? Does/did your child or children use imaginary play?how? What toys does/did your child play with eg. Dolls, trucks, outside on swings, making things, drawing etc. Have you/did you see your child learn through play? How do you value play? Do you find it important? What does play mean to you?(This is like what is your definition of playing) Do you/did take your child anywhere to play? Eg. a park, swimming pool, amusement park? How many hours a day does/did he/she play for? Do/did you encourage play? How was your play as a child different from your childs/childrens. How was your play as a child similar? Are you/were involved in your child/childrens play? How? Do you/did you make work play? For example, letting the child help you with cleaning etc.? Does/did your child play alone or with other kids? Does or did your child ever get so in to their play that they forget to go to the toilet or eat something? Do you/did you make set times when your child can play? THANKYOU SOOOO MUCH!!! I WILL GIVE YOU ALL POINTS IF YOU MAKE A CONTRIBUTION TO MY ASSIGNMENT!!!!!! The reason i need to ask these questions, is that i have to analyze how a child plays, when, why and what the parents believe. No names are used, its just a report on how i understand the importance of play.
