Which food coloring is flesh colored?

We think my son is allergic to artificial food coloring but what about food extract coloring?

• I took my 7 month old to another kid's first birthday party a few weeks ago, and the next morning we noticed a rash all over my sons body. I took him to the doc and she said it was most likely an allergy and the only thing that was different from his normal diet was that I let him try cupcake icing that was artificially colored blue and green (kind of like airbrushed onto white icing it looked like). I have a couple things of gerber puffs and one of the flavors, apple cinnamon, has like carrot extract color and another extract from a food (sorry i don't have it right infront of me).....That would be fine right? I'm going to wait until he is one for foods with artificial coloring. Also, is it okay to give him the macaroni and cheese baby food, since there is milk in it and cheese? He will be 8 months in 9 days. Thank you :)

  I think the gerber puffs and any food made for babies SHOULD be mild enough to not cause allergic reaction. They typically try to avoid most allergens when making that stuff. I would try a bit and wait and see how it affects him, and keep a list of things that seem to affect him in a bad way. And also a list of things he does good on. Just so you can reference back later if you forget. I know a child who is allergic to one thing only- ranch dressing. Its so random, but his mom thinks it must be a dye they use in it. Glad Mars is ok after the cake though, that could have been scary!
