If I have Aetna insurance through my job can my baby get medicaid still?
-
I have Aetna through my job and I am pregnant. After I have the baby do I have to out the baby on my insurance or is it possible to get a Medicaid HMO? They dont pay for maternity leave and adding someone is more expensive. I was wondering if I can just put the baby on A medicaid hmo in the mean time just for shots and check ups.

Answer:
I have Aetna through my husband and I was on pregnancy medicaid. After I had my son he was put on it as well.He will be on it for a year. My other 4 kids are not on it because they have Aetna and we only qualify for the package B (witch we would have to pay for it every month) since they have Aetna then they do not qualify for the medicaid. It is confusing. If you qualify for it without having to pay for it every month then he would be able to have both.
