Side effects after 12mth vaccination?

  • My son just had his 12 month vaccination, which consisted of hepatitis B; haemophilus influenzae type b (Hib); measles, mumps, rubella (MMR); and meningococcal C. The doctor said there may be some non serous side effects 7-10 days after the injection. It has been 8 days since my son had his, and he has a runny nose, a cough, a rash on his face, and on his legs, and now conjunctivitis. I'm just wondering if this is the result of the vaccinations, or he has just come down with a cold? The doctor I just went to see was completely hopeless and couldn't give me any infomation about what I was asking.

    That kind of sounds like he might have caught measles from the live MMR vaccine.
