What will my mixed race baby look like ?

  • Hi everyone, I just wondered if anyone had any offerings on mixed race babies. I am expecting a baby to my half jamaican boyf of 2 yrs and am sooooo excited about it. Ive already got 3 kids to an ex of 8 yrs who are all blond/dark blond with blue eyes and all beautiful. I have blue eyes and dark blonde hair and my boyf obviously coloured but not too dark with beautiful curly afro hair which i just love. I cant wait to see what our baby is going to look like. Does anyone else like me think it will just be lighter than dad but darker than me with an afro or is there any chance it could miss the dark genes as dad is only half jamaican ? Id love baby to be a bit of both with a sort of olive skin , id be quite disappointed if baby was as pale as me lol. Another thing is of all the mixed race babies ive seen they have all been absolutely beautiful, ive never seen a mixed race kid who isnt stunning, why is that ? All your thoughts welcome, im just giddy with excitement right now ! x

    I'm a mommy of 4 interracial babies. I'm white and have light ivory skin and my husband is african american...All of our children came out caramel colored with straight dark hair and big brown eyes...my 3 oldest 8..2 and 3 1/2 yrs old there hair has turned from very dark straight to light brown curly...My 3 month old still has the straight dark hair, dont know if it will remain like that or get curly with time. Everyones interracial children will look differently but kinda the same in skin tone and hair, but not quite. If u click on my name and then on my profile u can see a close up of my daughter,...I'm sure your baby is going to be adorable, I always get compliments on how beautiful my babies are =o)

There's no telling, it's a genetic gamble. I myself am dark yet my brother can pass for white. My own daughter is pale skinned compared to me yet darker than her caucasian father.

Your baby will probably have dark skin, although it will be a light dark if you catch my drift. The hair could be either straight or afro curly. Your right, mixed race people are absolutley gorgeous, that's because they take beauty from both of their parents. I love mixed race girls. Good luck with the birth and Im sure your baby will be beautiful.

your baby will be darker then you but lighter then him soo u will most likely have a child with olive skin dark eyes and dark hair but thers always a chance the baby could take after you but most people i know with mixd race children they usualy take after the dad :-) x

You should stick to your own race, and then you would not have this question. People will look at you and say she sleeps with each and anyone. You sound to giddy to be responsible for your actions.

It all depends, i am mixed (black Jamaican, and white) my husband is Hispanic but very dark and our daughter came out very light skinned with loose curly hair. and a friend of mine is of Swedish decent, white blond hair, blue eyes and very white skin, had a baby with a light skinned black guy and their baby came out looking 100% black.

at first the baby wont be that dark when he or she is born but will def. be darker than you! and he or shes skin will get darker within weeks and continue to get darker! or maybe the baby will just come out darker at birth its not really something you can guess on! but either way your baby will be gorgeous!!!
