How do I get my son's social security number?

How do I get rid of my sons social security number? My son is 17 months but it was a mistake to get one.?

    First you'll need to hack into the social security data base. (no small feat) Once in you'll need to access the system as an administrator. After that, simply locate your child's number and either delete or transfer the number to another individual. Most of these people are right in that he will need a social security number if you plan to utilize public services for him within the United States. However, if you intend to shape him into a militia man or a rebel fighter (both of which will come out of the wood work in late 2012) then you're making the right decision. The question is, which side is the one to be on? Barcodes or no barcodes?

Everyone has a Social Security number - otherwise you don't exist in the US. I'm pretty sure you don't know anyone who honestly does not have a number. You need them for doctors appointments and stuff.

don't try to be above the system, it's too tall. he WON'T survive in this world anymore without one. back in the day, yes people were just fine. today, too many things rest on a social security number for verification, validation, and authentication for you as a parent to just decide he won't need it. i applaud your reasoning, but today that just wont work... BUT, if you must: Go to the Social Security Office, wait in line for a few days, and talk to the bitchy lady behind the window. She'll know what to do.
