In What Year Was The First Genetic Test Done?

Tb test at my baby's 1 year well baby check up???

okay so today my 1 year old baby girl got her 1 year shots, except the mmr cause I'm so against putting mercury into my little baby's developing brain & body or the chicken pox shot cause I think she's too young for that one right now so I'll wait till she's 2, but anyway and the dr gave her a tb test! Now I always do research on all my baby's shots but I had no idea that they were going to give her the tb test this soon. Had I known that I would have done research on it! so my question is: is that the age that they start testing for tb??? I've just never heard of babies getting this shot so young, but then again she is my first so I never knew anything about immunizations before her. Thanks ahead...
